Questions about switching.
Do I need to already be a Verizon customer?
No. Most of the businesses we set up are switching from another carrier or from an old phone system. We handle the move, including bringing your existing numbers with you.
Can we keep our phone numbers?
Yes. We port your existing business numbers to One Talk and schedule the cutover so calls keep coming in.
Do I need new wiring for desk phones?
Usually not. One Talk desk phones such as the Yealink T74LTE and T77LTE connect over Verizon's cellular network, and the W92LTE is a cordless option. Wired IP phones are available where you prefer them.
What happens after go-live?
You get a direct line to our support team. Email support and your request becomes a ticket our team works until it's resolved.
Which analog lines can be replaced?
Common ones are fax lines, alarm panels, elevator phones, gate and door entry, and other copper POTS lines. We review each line first, because some, like fire and life-safety lines, have extra requirements.
